The Saskatchewan Formulary lists the drugs, which are covered by the Drug Plan. A prescription is
required for all drugs dispensed under the Drug Plan with the exception of insulin, blood-testing
agents, urine-testing agents, syringes, needles, lancets and swabs used by diabetic patients.

As of April 1, 2011, Saskatchewan no longer publishes prices that contain wholesale mark-up. Prices
in the website and future formulary books will now be the price as confirmed by the manufacturer,
exclusive of mark-ups.
Effective March 1, 2013 changes and enhancements have been made to On-line Formulary website and database. For information and instructions on the changes, please read the HELP document.

is accurate and up-to-date.
Search the Formulary by: Generic Name, Drug Brand Name, or Drug Identification Number (DIN). For
Drug Brand Name or Generic Name searches, type in either the full name or partial name (at least 3
letters).
